Skip-the-queue, book your tickets online!
Online booking is not mandatory but is recommended on weekends and bank holidays.
Tickets are also available to purchase on site every day.
The purchase of e-tickets is for individual visitors only.
They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The date cannot be changed.

Due to work on the railway lines, we advise you to check the train traffic and schedules from Paris before buying your tickets for the visit.

Opening times and conditions


Claude Monet’s House and Gardens – Giverny are open every day:
From April 1st to November 1st, 2025
From 9.30am to 6pm, last admission at 5.30pm

Recommended visit duration: 1h30 to 2h (unguided visit)

  • Any exit from the site is final.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Picnic, painting, and drawing are not allowed.
  • No luggage storage available (Vigipirate plan – large luggage forbidden)

Safety and anti-terrorism measures


At Claude Monet’s House and Gardens – Giverny, we have implemented the preventative measures required by the French government in order to ensure the safety of our visitors. Bags are systematically checked upon entry. We recommend that you do not bring large bags or suitcases. Only cabin-sized bags with a maximum size of 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm are permitted and must be carried in your hand or on your back. We appreciate your understanding when there are delays due to security checks at the entrances. For more information on what to do in the event of an attack, please refer to the instructions given on the French government’s website.
