Poppy
The poppy family includes red poppies but comes in many other colours. Poppies can grow to 1.5 metres high. Years of natural selection have created poppies in colours that are only found at Giverny.
See them
Claude Monet painted these flowers too, with his 1883 ‘Vase with Poppies’ and ‘Poppies in Chinese Vase’.
Grow them
Like red poppies, they resow and regrow by themselves. However, you need to pull out the dead roots after seeding in order to keep the garden tidy.
